alsoCAN has collaborated with developers & project managers on institutional projects such as school multi-purpose halls. We've also designed stand alone commercial buildings & shop fitouts for hairdressers & hospitality tenancies for owner operators.

Some of alsoCAN architects' residential work includes a commercial component; from home offices to mixed use developments with cafés under apartment buildings. We are familiar with the complexities of mixed use construction, fire rating between different uses & managing consultant teams.

In Tasmania, we are currently designing beach house developments in Bicheno & Port Sorell. We also have airbnb shed conversions in Launceston & Hadspen under way.

We designed an office for Figurehead Constructions on a pocket-sized block at 70 Adam St, Burnley. They love the staff room and roof deck with city views.

Art Van is a pro bono project where we're putting together ideas to cheaply convert a van to sell craftwork by Mozambique women to improve their lives, using standard off the shelf objects like ladders.
